Momen for vigilance against conspirators at home and abroad

DHAKA,  – Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has urged all to be vigilant against conspirators at home and abroad so that any barbaric act like August 15 carnage cannot take place on the soil of Bangladesh.

“The number of enemies may increase as Bangladesh has been making huge progress … We have to be prepared to face them,” he said.

The foreign minister was speaking at a virtual discussion on Friday, organized by teachers’ association of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University marking the National Mourning Day, a press release said here today.

Dr Momen said Bangladesh foreign ministry has been successfully working due to the foreign policy formulated with the prudence of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He urged teachers of universities to conduct research on Bangabandhu’s leadership and principles as well as dynamic leadership and achievement of his able daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Former vice-chancellor of Jagannath University Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman and vice-chancellor of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University Dr AHM Mostafizur Rahman also spoke, among others.
