For the treatment of the ailing student of the Department of Sociology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), financial assistance of 3 lakh taka was given from university.
University Vice-Chancellor Khondoker Nasiruddin handed over this grant to teachers and officials in his office on Thursday.
As a result of the absence of ailing Injamamul, Chairman of the Department of Sociology Md. Majnur Rashid received the cheque from the Vice Chancellor.
Among others, Dean of Biological Sciences Faculty Professor Md A Sattar, Dean of Science Faculty Md. Abdur Rahim, Proctor and teacher association President Md Ashiquzzaman Bhuiyan, Dean of Engineering Faculty Professor Md Shahjahan, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department Professor Bilas Chandra Bala, Public Relations Officer Md Mahbubul Alam were also present at the occasion.
It is to be noted that Injamamul Haq is suffering from a long-term disorder “Left Femoral Head Destruction”.
