“I always dreamed of joining the police,” says Manik

TBT REPORT

“My childhood dream was to join the police force. But today, I have become a blogger and TikToker. Alhamdulillah, with everyone’s love and support, I am now working in the media industry.”

These are the words of popular blogger and TikToker Manik Miah, who has gained significant popularity and success on social media in recent times.

Manik’s full name is Manik Miah, and he is widely known across the country by that name. He was born and raised in Tangail.

He began his journey by creating content for Facebook and YouTube while living abroad. His videos portraying the struggles of life as an expatriate went viral overnight. He gained popularity on social media at the age of just 22.

Manik made his debut in the media through a music video titled ‘Chill’, featuring vocals by singer Noor Nabi.

So far, Manik Miah has appeared in more than 15 music videos, several of which have gained considerable popularity.

Speaking about his journey, he said, “At the beginning of my career, I saved money and moved to Singapore. I could not find good opportunities there, so I returned to Bangladesh and later moved to Saudi Arabia. I went through a lot of hardship there as well. One day, I uploaded a video showing those struggles on Facebook. The video suddenly went viral. That is how I became known to everyone as Manik Miah.”

He further said, “I returned to Bangladesh and got married, which you all saw. I had a dream of bringing my bride home in a helicopter, and I fulfilled that dream as well. Now I have some businesses of my own, and I am a business owner. I also have a little princess. Please keep her in your prayers.”
