Army chief visits Rohingya camp at Ukhia

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed today visited Balukhali-2 Rohingya camp at Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar district, BSS reported.

During the visit, the Chief of Army Staff also distributed relief goods among Rohingya people, said a press release of ISPR.

On Wednesday, General Aziz Ahmed visited the under-construction special ‘Ashrayan’ project at Khurushkul area in Cox’s Bazar.

He visited the project areas and inquired about the progress of the project works.

On March 27 in 2017, the charge of the project was given to Bangladesh Army. Under the project, a 10-storied building named ‘Sheikh Hasina Tower’ will be established while 139 others 5-storied buildings will be built.
