

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours commencing from 9:00 am.
According to a Met Office bulletin issued this morning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
The bulletin also said moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 35 degrees Celsius in Rangpur, while today's minimum temperature was 24.4 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and Bandarban.
During the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today, Kutubdia recorded the highest rainfall of 81 millimetres.
The sun will set in Dhaka at 6:41 pm today and rise at 5:29 am tomorrow.
