Bangladeshi students attended China’s Silk Road Youth Exchange Program

China Correspondent: In order to strengthen Chinese cultural exchanges and mutual friendship among foreign youth, a week-long Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Program – 2021 has been held in Guizhou Province, China. Two Bangladeshi students got the opportunity to participate in the program.

From July 11 to July 17, the opening and closing ceremonies, and other activities of the Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Program – 2021 were held at Kaili University. The week-long program is hosted by Kaili University, organized by the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, and is sponsored by the Guizhou Provincial Education Department.

Chen Wenyi, Director of the Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week; Wu Zuozhao, Deputy Secretary of the education working committee; Song Guangqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Kaili University, and Zhou Jiangju, Vice President of the university attended the meeting.

The program consisted of visiting museums, gaining knowledge about Miao and Dong culture, studying the Chinese language, learning and experiencing batik work by hand, gaining cultural experience in Danzhai Wanda city, paper making in ancient times, and learning the Dong community’s national anthem.

Two Bangladeshi students got the opportunity to participate in the Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Program – 2021. They are Mohammad Saiyedul Islam, a Ph.D. student at the Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and Mohammad Akbar Hossain, a newly graduated student.

In addition, 22 students studying in various Chinese universities from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Morocco, Madagascar, Laos, Cambodia, Morocco, Mexico, and other countries participated in the Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Program – 2021. Certificates were distributed among the students at the closing ceremony.
