6,13,181 get first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Rangpur

RANGPUR,  – The number of first dose recipient citizens of the Covid-19 vaccine rose to 6,13,181 in Rangpur division with inoculation of 3,967 more people with first dose of the jab today.

Talking to BSS, Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam said that the first dose recipient 6,13,181 citizens include 3,66,010 male and 2,47,171 female in the division.

The district-wise break-up of first dose recipient 6,13,181 citizens stands at 1,71,264 in Rangpur, 45,471 in Panchagarh, 78,257 in Nilphamari, 38,465 Lalmonirhat, 47,484 in Kurigram, 51,311 in Thakurgaon, 1,19,355 in Dinajpur and 64,720 in Gaibandha.

Meanwhile, none was vaccinated with the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine today in Rangpur division where the number of second dose recipients remained steady at 3,89,354, including 2,48,255 male and 1,41,099 female.

“The district-wise break-up of second dose recipient 3,89,354 citizens stands at 90,805 in Rangpur, 31,753 in Panchagarh, 50,273 in Nilphamari, 27,920 Lalmonirhat, 33,769 in Kurigram, 37,617 in Thakurgaon, 78,830 in Dinajpur and 38,387 in Gaibandha,” he said.
