PM joins luncheon hosted by his Malaysian counterpart

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today attended a luncheon hosted by his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim.
 
The luncheon was held at the residence of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya around 1:30 pm local time.
 
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was accompanied by his wife Zubaida Rahman.

On the occasion, a cultural soiree was held where Malaysian artistes performed. School students danced to the song 'Prothom Bangladesh Amar, Shesh Bangladesh'. The two prime ministers and their spouses enjoyed the cultural event.

As Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman came down from the building after the cultural programme, Malaysian children welcomed them holding the national flags of Bangladesh and Malaysia.

Then, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his wife came to the main gate in front of the Prime Minister's residence and bid farewell to Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife.
 
From there, Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman went to Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in a motorcade.
   
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived here yesterday (Sunday) on a two-day official visit at the invitation of his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim.
