PM praises Moulvibazar youth's eco-friendly innovations, assures support

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today appreciated a student and young innovator, Sajjadul Islam, from Moulvibazar after learning about several innovative and environmental-friendly products developed by him.

The Prime Minister was informed about the innovations of Sajjadul Islam at a meeting at the Bangladesh Secretariat here this afternoon and he assured government support for the innovative works of the young innovator.
 
Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony said Sajjadul Islam briefed the Prime Minister on his innovations, including biodegradable polythene made from rotten and discarded vegetables, and corrugated sheets, tiles, and boards produced from banana fibers.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman highly appreciated these environment-friendly innovations using local raw materials, he added.

The Prime Minister assured government support for Sajjadul Islam's innovative works and encouraged him to continue his research and development activities.
