Eid Food Support Distributed Among CSP Beneficiary Children in Susua Char

Desk Report- A food distribution program for beneficiary children of the “Child Sponsorship Program (CSP)” was held in Susua Char of Bhuapur Upazila, Tangail, ahead of Eid. The event took place on Monday (18 May) at 12:00 PM at the field of Susua Welfare Association. The program was organized under the CSP project, funded by Human Concern International and implemented by Shushilan.

The distribution program was inaugurated by Acting Chairman of Arjuna Union Parishad, Md. Delwar Hossain Delsad. Others present at the event included Mominur Rahman, Founder of Susua Welfare Association, along with Shushilan representatives Ruma Khatun and Rasheda Khatun.
Under the program, 69 beneficiary children received Eid food support packages containing puffed rice, powdered milk, chickpeas, lachcha semai, lentils, soybean oil, flour, detergent powder, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sugar, chili powder, salt, and noodles. In addition, sanitary napkins were distributed among 51 adolescent girls to support health and hygiene.

The children expressed happiness after receiving the support and thanked Shushilan and Human Concern International for their continued assistance.
