As of now, he is getting international exposure. Sumon has just signed with Bengali-American Umar Chowdhury’s “Soundpace International” for New York Fashion Week, 11^th September, 2021.

Sumon, a passionate fashion enthusiast, runway choreographer and iconic designer- is nothing but thrilled to be featured in such a prestigious venture.

“Soundpace International” is a world-class fashion organization which works in New York fashion show. Since 2019, Soundpace has been providing a rare opportunity for Bangladeshi choreographers to represent their culture.

Shahadat Hossain Sumon vows to make the best use of this opportunity, represent Bangladesh’s nature, and culture though his works.

A physics graduate, Sumon has been involved with modeling for more than a decade. He was a model during his student years. Later, he transitioned into choreography and designing. He gained nationwide recognition for his work in BTV’s “Soptodinga” magazine program in 2006.

Sumon completed many courses on choreography from abroad. He directed choreography for ramp shows in prominent venues such as- Sonargaon Hotel, Radison Blue Hotel, Dhaka Regency, Dhaka Club, Hotel Sheraton. He worked for corporate events of Samsung, Fit Elegance, Fu Wang and many more.

Sumon’s lifelong dream is to set up a world-class choreography institute in Bangladesh. He is working very hard to establish it. Apart from that, he always takes time to groom younger models and will always give them valuable advices.
