DHAKA, -Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy moved to the final of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games men’s Basketball eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinals held today at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.

The gold deciding final match between Army and Navy will be held tomorrow at the same venue.

In the day’s semifinal, Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Air Force by 70-66 points. Alomgir was the highest scorer with 14 points while Mizanur supported him 13 points for Army. Tareq scored 30 points while Shamsul scored 13 points for Bangladesh Air Force.

In the day’s another semifinal, Bangladesh Navy defeated Rajshahi district by 116-56 points. In the proceeding, Mithun was the highest scorer with 24 points while Sowad supported him with 18 points for Bangladesh Navy. Harry scored 18 points for Rajshahi district.
