Md. Nazmuddin Moin Khan has been honored with the Emerging Business Analytics Professional Award–2025 at the Fourth International Conference on Transformative Innovations in Science, Technology, Nursing and Medical Sciences (NEXTGEN TECH 2025), held on December 29–30, 2025. The award was jointly conferred by Eudoxia Research University, USA, and Kanyakumari Medical Mission College & Research Centre, Tamil Nadu, India.
Khan received the award for his research paper titled “Assessing Urban–Rural Income Disparities in the United States: A Data-Driven Approach Using Predictive Analytics.” His presentation applied advanced predictive analytics and large-scale socioeconomic data to examine structural income gaps between urban and rural regions in the United States. The study demonstrated how data-driven models can forecast income inequality trends, evaluate regional disparities, and support evidence-based decision-making for economic planning and social policy. By integrating statistical modeling with business analytics techniques, the research offered actionable insights for policymakers, development agencies, and organizations seeking to design targeted interventions for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The conference attracted over 50 participants from more than five countries. Only six individuals were recognized across all award categories, underscoring the awards’ highly competitive nature. Khan’s selection demonstrates the global significance of his work and its impactful application of advanced analytics to complex socioeconomic challenges.
The award evaluation process was overseen by a distinguished international committee of senior academic leaders and industry experts. The committee was led by Prof. Dr. Rhituraj Saikia, President, Eudoxia Research University, USA, and Prof. Dr. Caleb Moyo, Vice Chancellor, Eudoxia Research University, USA. The evaluation was convened by Prof. Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece, with Dr. Edward Haberek Jr., Professor, DeVry University, Arlington, USA, serving as Organizing Secretary.
Khan’s research has broad global significance, particularly for developing and emerging economies facing persistent urban–rural income inequalities. The analytical framework presented in his study is transferable to countries such as Bangladesh, where data-driven approaches can support equitable development, poverty reduction, and informed public policy.
The Emerging Business Analytics Professional Award–2025 marks a significant milestone in Khan’s professional journey and underscores the growing international impact of research contributions originating from Bangladesh and the United States.
