Inauguration of the Annual Paper Presentation Program of the Department of Electrical Engineering

Staff Reporter : The Sixth Annual Paper Presentation Program was inaugurated under the initiative of the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). The inauguration took place yesterday, Saturday, at the seminar hall of the IEB Headquarters in Ramna.

The chief guest at the event was Education Adviser Dr. Chowdhury Rafiq-ul-Abrar. The program was presided over by the President of IEB and Chairman of RAJUK, Engineer Md. Rezaul Islam Riju. Special guests included Engineer Md. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Bangladesh Power Development Board; Vice-Chancellor of North East University, Dr. Engineer Iqbal; and Chairman of the IEB Department of Electrical Engineering, Engineer Motahar Hossain.

In his address, the chief guest Dr. Chowdhury Rafiq-ul-Abrar said that the industrial and engineering sectors around the world are advancing rapidly amid constant change. This conference, bringing together researchers, engineers, academicians, and young innovators, serves as a unique platform for knowledge exchange and technological advancement.

The welcome address was delivered by the Secretary General of IEB, Professor Dr. Engineer Mohammad Sabbir Mostafa Khan.
