DU, KOICA to work together to promote entrepreneurship

DHAKA, – Dhaka University (DU) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Bangladesh are going to implement a bilateral project to promote entrepreneurship across the country.

To this end, a meeting between KOICA Bangladesh and the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center of University of Dhaka was held today at university’s Vice-Chancellor’s office, said a press release.

Elaborate discussion was took place in the meeting on the project titled “Capacity Building of Universities in Bangladesh to Promote Youth Entrepreneurship”.

This project, under the ministry of education will be implemented by the University of Dhaka in collaboration with the KOICA Bangladesh and a consortium comprising of Korea Productivity Center (KPC) and Korea Polytechnic University.

DU Vice Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman chaired the meeting while representatives of KOICA Bangladesh, led by Country Director of KOICA Bangladesh Office Doh Young-Ah, Executive Director of ICE Center Md Rashedur Rahman and a team of interdisciplinary faculties from different departments at the university attended the meeting.
