

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) today nominated 545 candidates from the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) for appointment in non-cadre jobs in different government services.
BPSC officials said the 545 job seekers had appeared in the 45th BCS examination and passed both in written and viva voce but could not qualify for the limited cadre posts in the competitive exam.
“The BPSC published the 45th BCS viva voce result yesterday and nominated 1,807 candidates for different cadre jobs and 545 for appointment in the non-cadre jobs today,” BPSC spokesman SM Motiur Rahman told BSS here today.
BPSC officials said the BPSC suggested the appointments 545 candidates as first class gazetted officers based on their merit and relevant educational qualifications under the Non-Cadre Appointment (Special) Rules, 2023.
Rahman said that the result of written examination of the 46th BCS might be published tonight.
