A heart-warming Festival Clothes and Sportswear Distribution Event was organized at the Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) Center in Camp-04 by Shushilan, in collaboration with Human Concern International (HCI). The occasion brought smiles and excitement among hundreds of children, reflecting the shared commitment of both organizations to child happiness, dignity, and well-being.
The event was graced by Ms. Salma Zahid, Honorable Member of Parliament (MP) of Canada, alongside an HCI delegation comprising Mr. Masum Mahbub (CEO, Human Concern USA), Ms. Mahmuda Khan (Global CEO, HCI), Mr. Ahmad Attia, Mr. Usama Khan, and Senator Salma. Camp-04 CIC Suraya Akter Swety, Deputy Secretary, also joined the ceremony. They were warmly welcomed by Md. Ariful Islam (Project Coordinator, Shushilan), Md. Delwar Hossain (Accounts & Admin Officer, Shushilan), and the dedicated CSP field staff, who coordinated the event seamlessly.
During the visit, the HCI representatives engaged with the children, asking about their studies, interests, and aspirations. The distribution of new festival clothes, shoes, and sportswear—personally handed over by the guests with the support of the Shushilan CSP team—was the highlight of the day, spreading joy and inspiration across the center.
In her remarks, Hon. Salma Zahid, MP, praised the joint efforts of HCI and Shushilan and reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting the education and welfare of Rohingya children.
The Child Sponsorship Program (CSP), implemented by Shushilan with the support of Human Concern International (HCI), continues to promote the educational, emotional, and social development of children in vulnerable communities. Events like this symbolize the strong partnership between the two organizations and their dedication to ensuring every child experience happiness, confidence, and hope for the future.
