Govt releases second teaser of national election 2026

As part of the promotion of the upcoming 13th Parliamentary Election, the government today released the second teaser of the national polls 2026.

Chief Adviser’s Press Wing released the 1:09 minute teaser tonight.

In the teaser, Nurul Islam, father of Felani Khatun, who was killed by Indian Border Security Force (BSF), is seen expressing his frustration while describing the heartbreaking incident that took away his daughter.

He expressed disappointment as he was yet to get justice. “How could I get justice? Instead, our government spoke on India’s behalf. As at that time our government in Bangladesh was the Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina, they spoke for India. We don’t want a government like that anymore,” Nurul Islam said in the teaser.

“We want a government that will speak for us. One that will have the courage to demand justice for murder,” he continued.

Calling upon the country’s people to participate in the upcoming February national election, Nurul Islam said “We will cast our votes and reclaim our power. Who will win in this election? Bangladesh will win”.

According to the press wing, the teaser concludes with the message, “Vote in the February national election to decide what kind of Bangladesh you want to see. Remember — this time, the key to the country is in your hands.”
