SABINCO Signs Refinance Agreements with Bangladesh Bank

Saudi-Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited (SABINCO) has signed two significant agreements with the Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank on October 28, 2025, to avail refinance facilities under the “Technology Development/Up-gradation of Export Oriented Industries” and “Green Products/Projects/Initiatives” schemes.

Under these schemes, SABINCO will have the opportunity to access low-cost refinance from Bangladesh Bank, enabling onward lending to its customers for sustainable and technology-driven business initiatives.

The agreements were signed by Mr. Chowdhury Liakat Ali, Director, Sustainable Finance Department, Bangladesh Bank, and Mr. Md. Maroof ur Rahman Mazumder, Managing Director, SABINCO. Senior officials from both Bangladesh Bank and SABINCO were present at the signing ceremony.

This collaboration marks another step forward in promoting sustainable finance and supporting export-oriented industries in Bangladesh through responsible investment and innovation.
