The Ingenious Marketing Club (IMC) of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) successfully
organized its signature seminar of the semester titled “AD’Warfare: Mastering the Battle of
Advertising.” The event took place at the UAP Auditorium and aimed to enhance students’
understanding of effective advertising strategies and techniques.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Rafayat Rakib, a distinguished professional in the field of
advertising and communication. He is a former HR Business Partner at BAT Bangladesh and
a popular content creator across multiple platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and
Instagram, where he enjoys a large and loyal following.
Throughout the session, Mr. Rakib shared his valuable insights on how to create impactful
advertisements that successfully capture audience attention. He discussed key elements that
make an advertisement stand out and emphasized the importance of creativity, storytelling, and
emotional connection in crafting effective marketing campaigns.
The seminar commenced at 1:30 PM, and the UAP Auditorium was filled to capacity,
reflecting the enthusiasm and keen interest of the students. The engaging session was followed
by an interactive Q&A segment, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and
gain further insights from the speaker.
The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented to Mr. Rafayat Rakib by Ms. Mily
Akhter, Lecturer and Convenor of the Ingenious Marketing Club. A final speech by the
convenor marked the end of the program, highlighting the club’s commitment to fostering
marketing knowledge and practical learning among UAP students.

inspiring students to think more creatively and strategically about advertising in the modern
