Humayun for project implementation as per scheduled

DHAKA, – Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today asked the official concerned to implement the Annual Development Program (ADP) as per the time-bound plan.

“Significant progress should be made on ongoing projects by June 2021. Supervision activities at the field level of the project should be enhanced,” he said.

The minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a virtual meeting to review the progress of implementation of projects included in the annual development program of the Ministry of Industries in the fiscal year 2020-2021, said a press release.

State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder attended the meeting as the special guest.

The meeting was chaired by Industries Secretary KM Ali Azam.

Emphasizing on strengthening the activities of the ongoing projects, Humayun said that the officials of the ministry should regularly inspect the project areas and activities.

Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said strict action would be taken against anyone who created an artificial fertilizer crisis.

He advised the BCIC to be vigilant so that unscrupulous traders do not create an artificial fertilizer crisis anywhere in the country.

At this time, he directed to complete the work of 13 buffer godowns quickly.
