Niazul Islam Rony Appointed as Country Coordinator for Bangladesh at Global SME Summit 2025

The prestigious Global SME Summit 2025, set to take place from 3rd to 5th September 2025 at the Davos Congress Centre in Switzerland, has named Niazul Islam Rony as the Country Coordinator for Bangladesh and a member of its Global Organizing Committee.

Mr. Niazul Islam joined the Global SME Business Home (GSBH), Switzerland, in May 2024 as the Head of Bangladesh Operations. Under his leadership, GSBH successfully hosted a landmark event in Dhaka on 21st November 2024, bringing together over 250 prominent business leaders, including Managing Directors, CEOs, and leading entrepreneurs from across the country. The event marked a significant milestone for GSBH’s operations in South Asia.

Recognizing his outstanding contributions, the global leadership of GSBH has entrusted Mr. Niazul with a broader international mandate. As Country Coordinator and a key member of the Global Organizing Committee, he is playing an instrumental role in shaping the strategic direction and operational success of the upcoming summit.

The Global SME Summit 2025 is expected to host 300+ delegates from over 40 countries, including 200+ CEOs and 20+ internationally acclaimed speakers. The summit aims to foster global collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth within the SME sector, making it a defining event in the global business calendar.

Mr. Niazul brings a wealth of experience to this role. Prior to his current position, he served as the CEO of Ambinace Logistics Ltd. (Bangladesh). He has also held senior leadership positions in Malaysia, including Head of Business Development at Worldwide Sources Enterprise and key roles at Instapay Technologies, The Lorry, MYEG Services Berhad, and MyMilk Sdn Bhd.

Fluent in Bengali, English, Hindi. Mr. Niazul possesses a unique multicultural perspective and cross-border leadership acumen. His core competencies include strategic leadership, sales and customer management, logistics and supply chain, public relations, data analytics, digital marketing, and e-commerce.

His appointment underscores GSBH’s commitment to inclusive global representation and effective regional coordination as it prepares to host one of the most impactful SME gatherings in recent years.
