Mosharraf, Mamo’s ‘Gorom Bhater Gondho’

Mosharraf Karim and Zakia Bari Mamo, two popular artistes of the country have presented many popular dramas to the viewers. Now, the actors have paired up again for a new drama with the title ‘Gorom Bhater Gondho’. Written by Ishrat Ahmed, the drama has been directed by Shakal Ahmed.
Mosharraf Karim and Mamo were last seen in the drama ‘Mon Doroja’ directed by Shagor Jahan in September 2020.

About the drama, Shakal Ahmed said, “The story of the drama is different from my other dramas. The drama will be aired on Bongo BD, Deepto TV, Ntv and Banglavision soon. I hope the audience will enjoy it very much.” Mosharraf Karim said, “I have acted in several dramas of Shakal Ahmed before this project. I’ve also received huge response for these dramas. The story of the drama ‘Gorom Bhater Gondho’ is amazing. I hope the audience will also accept the drama like our previous works.” Mamo said, “Shakal Ahmed is a popular director of the country and he has a wonderful shooting unit. It is my first work with Mosharraf Karim under the direction of Shakal Ahmed. As Mosharraf Karim is my co-actor in the drama. So, undoubtedly it will be a good project.”

K M Mosharraf Hossain, popularly known by his stage-name Mosharraf Karim, is a theatre, Television, and film actor of the country. He began his career as a theatre artiste in late the 1980s with ‘Nattokendro’. He emerged on the television dramas in 1999 with the single-episode TV play ‘Atithi’ directed by Ferdous Hasan and rose to fame for his natural acting and expressions.

Karim was associated with ‘Chabial’ for a long time and worked with film and television director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki on a number of television serials and dramas. His most notable works include, ‘Television’, ‘Third Person Singular Number’ and ‘Sikandar Box’.

Zakia Bari Mamo is a model and actress who is best known around the country as Lux Channel i Superstar. After winning the beauty pageant in 2006, she came to limelight and got a chance to act in the film ‘Daruchini Dip’. For her role in her debut movie, she received the Bangladesh National Film Awards.
