TBT DESK: Two consignments of 26,250 tonnes of Pakistani rice and 11,000 tonnes of Indian rice arrived at Chittagong Port on Wednesday.
The Pakistani vessel named "MV SIBI" with 26,250 tonnes (MT) of rice under the Government-to-Government (G2G) deal and Indian vessel named "MV HT UNITE" anchored at Chittagong Port in the morning, said Imdad Islam, Public Relation officer of Food Ministry.
Necessary measures have been taken to ensure that the unloading activities will begin today after testing the samples of rice stored on the two ships.
