DHAKA, – The government today extended the ongoing closure of all government and private primary schools and kindergartens across the country till December 19 aiming to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Considering the safety of students and in a bid to protect them from COVID-19 infection, the closure of all government and private primary schools and kindergartens across the country has been extended till December 19, said an official press release.

All educational institutions across the country have remained closed since March 17 following detection of the first Covid-19 case on March 8.
