DMP plans foolproof security measures for Victory Day celebration

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has held a coordination meeting to ensure foolproof security alongside maintaining law and order and enforcing proper traffic management to ensure peaceful observance of the upcoming Martyred Intellectuals Day and Victory Day.

DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjad Ali presided over the meeting held at the DMP Headquarters here.

Expressing his due respect to the martyrs, he said, “I hope that with the cooperation of everyone, the Victory Day will be celebrated on December 16 amid a festive atmosphere.”

He hoped that everyone will properly perform their professional duties to celebrate the day amid festivity.

“In addition, necessary security plans should be sorted out and implemented in all places where people are likely to gather on Victory Day,” he said.
