11th Asian Tourism Fair 2024

Journalists from various electronic and print media attended today's press conference on the occasion of 11th Asian Tourism Fair 2024. Assalamualaikum

In today's important press conference, Mr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, Managing Director of Bangladesh Service Limited is present as the chief guest, Ms. Ashith Shamla, Third Secretary of Bangladesh Maldives High Commission, the organizations under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism - Biman Bangladesh Airlines, are present as guests of the fair. Representatives of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board and Tourist Police Bangladesh.

On behalf of the 11th Asian Tourism Fair 2024, I extend my sincere greetings and congratulations. As you know, Bangladesh with unique natural beauty and diversity can also be an attractive travel destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Tourism is a multidimensional industry. Considering the priority of sustainable development of Bangladesh, tourism industry is an important and infinite potential medium. For this, government and private initiatives and sincere efforts are needed.

Dear Friends,

The 11th Asian Tourism Fair is going to be held in Dhaka for 3 days from 19 to 21 September 2024. This fair will be held at International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka for 3 days in cooperation with Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Tourist Police Bangladesh under the overall guidance of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, organized by Tourism Bichitra in continuation of last year. The fair will run from 10:00 am to 08:00 pm every day.

In the upcoming 11th Asian Tourism Fair, more than 100 tourism companies from Bangladesh, Maldives, China, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bhutan, Singapore will participate. The fair will have various attractive travel offers, hotel, resort or package bookings including special discounts for domestic and foreign travel in the upcoming tourism season. Among the organizations participating in the fair are hotels, motels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators and theme parks and many other entertainment establishments.

Apart from this, the fair will have tourism related seminars, drawing competition for children, business to business meetings. Every evening of the fair there will be cultural programs from China, Philippines and Bangladesh. Through this fair, there will be an effort to present a complete picture of the tourism industry to the visitors.

Dear Journalist Brothers And Sisters, One of the objectives of organizing this fair is to make the tourist attractions of Bangladesh more popular among the people of the country and abroad and to build bridges with the regional tourism industry to restore momentum in the tourism industry. I can say for sure that the 11th Asian Tourism Fair will spread to every tourist spot in the country with the help of our dear journalist friends. The tourism industry will become dynamic again.
