Apart from the myriad dramas of love, middle class crisis, very few dramas have been made on Eid based on social context, politics and cadre politics.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Sanjay Samaddar has created the drama ‘Politics’ based on Ishtiaq Ahmed’s novel ‘Appelshastra’. The drama is produced by Turn Communication (Live Technology). Besides directing, the producer also wrote the script.

Ishtiaq Ahmed said, “The story of ‘Politics’ drama has spread around the politics of a young man named Azad who grew up in a familiar environment around us, became a cadre, fell in love and life revolved around reality.” That can be seen in the story. Azad has to choose between politics or the people he loves. What will Azad do? Ziaul Farooq Apurbo has played the role of Kendriya Azad in the drama. Tanjin Tisha will be seen with him.
The trailer of the drama has already been published on YouTube and social media, which has received quite a response.

Apart from Apurba-Tanjin Tisha, Shimul Khan, Ivan Sayer, Rashed Mamun Apu, Fakhrul Bashar Masum, Mili Bashar, Swarnalatha, Siam Nasir, Anwar Hossain and others have acted in different roles in the drama.

The drama was aired on Banglavision on Thursday at 2:10 pm. And it was released on Live Tech YouTube channel on the same day at 5 pm.
