JnU student infected with coronavirus

Nakibul Ahsan Nishad, JnU Correspondent: A student of Jagannath University has been infected with coronavirus during the  2019-20 academic year. Yesterday a student called the hotline at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease control and research (IEDCR) and took her to the IEDCR.  Later on Tuesday, the IEDCR confirmed that he was coronavirus-positive after the test.

The coronavirus-infected student said she had fever and headache for the past 6 days. She was taken to the ICDCR hotline yesterday and took him to the ICDER.  Later on Tuesday, the ICDER confirmed that he was coronavirus-positive after the test.

University Proctor Dr.  Mostafa Kamal said, I heard the news of a student of Jagannath being infected by Coronavirus.  We are investigating her.

Jagannath University vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman said, “We are always take update for her. She is with her family in Uttara. Today she will be taken by the IEDCR authorities to Isolation, his family must also be in the home quarantine. We have asked for any assistance. He will be given all kinds of support from the university authority.
