Shahadat Sumon, JU correspondent: Securing the slogan ’23 er 25, bondhu hoye thakis’ the current and former students of 23rd batch of Jahangirnagar University (JU) yesterday celebrated its silver jubilee amid much enthusiasm on the campus.
On Friday (March 6) the university`s Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Md. Amir Hossain inaugurated the program at the university`s teachers students centre while Pro-Vice chancellor (Education) Prof Nurul Alam, convener of the reunion program Kazi Jakir Hossain among others present on the program.
Later, the students of 23rd batch along with their family members brought out a colorful rally from the central cafeteria premises, which ended at the same spot after parading the main streets on the campus.
The daylong events included grand lunch, different kinds of funny games, memory making session and cultural program at Selim Al Deen Muktamancha.
