RAJSHAHI, – A four-day inter-hall Bangabandhu Literary and Cultural Competition- 2020 in Rajshahi University (RU) ended at its Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium today.

In the competition, Monnuzan Hall and Shaheed Habibur Rahman Hall jointly clinched the championship while Shaheed Suhrawardi Hall became runner-up. Besides, Tahmina Bin Zafar and Dibash Tarafder Durjoy bagged the championship personally in literary and cultural respectively.

RU Vice-chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan accompanied by its Pro-vice- chancellors Prof Ananda Kumar Saha and Prof Chowdhury Jakaria distributed
prizes among the winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Abdus Sobhan underscored the need for boosting literary and cultural practice to make society beautiful through
eradicating all sorts of crimes.
