RAJSHAHI,  – The Bangabandhu Inter-University Athletics and Badminton Competition began at Rajshahi University (RU) today.

RU Pro-vice chancellors Prof Ananda Kumar Saha and Prof Chowdhury Jakaria inaugurated the tournament through releasing balloons and festoons this morning.

Teachers and officials concerned of the university were also present on the occasion.

Over 200 players from 26 universities are taking part in the three-day badminton competition while from 21 universities in the two-day athletics
competition.
