RURU receipts freshers with much festivity

Mujahid Hossain, RU Correspondent: Rajshahi University Reporter’s Unity (RURU), an independent and non-affiliated journalistic organisation based on RU, receipted fresher students of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department in the university with amid much joy and festivity.

RURU organised the grand fresher reception programme at its office at RUCSU bhaban around 12am on Wednesday noon.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Ananda Kumar Shaha, proctor Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman and Masihur Rahman, associate Prof. of MCJ spoke at the programme as guest where around 60 fresher students of MCJ, all executive body and members of RURU were attended.

Speakers at the reception urged all freshers to   engage everything in extra-curriculam activities which will make you truly prepare to vie in this competitive world.

As the student of MCJ, you will acquire a excellent academic knowledge of journalism but the organisation will be instructed you how to do journalism by practical. RURU will give you the best platform providing all types of monitors, instructions and training, the speakers also said.

Rizvi Ahmed, general secretary of RURU presided over the programme while Arafat Rahman, president of the organisation welcomed all the participants.

Noted, RURU is an independent, non-political and non-affiliated journalistic organisation based on RU which was established in 2001 believing in the spirit of liberation war.

Every year, the organisation receipted fresher students  specially MCJ’s student offering to include theirself in journalism.
