CHATTOGRAM, – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 detained a drug peddler with 820 grams of cocaine worth about Taka 15 crore in a raid at Tigerpass crossing in the city this morning.

The drug peddler was identified as Baktiar Hossain, son of one Jafar Ahmed, hailed from Koepara of Raozan upazila of the district.

Kazi Md. Tarek Aziz, Assistant Police super of RAB, said, being informed, a team of the law enforcers conducted the drive in the crossing area and arrested him along with the cocaine.

The value of the seized cocaine is approximately Taka 15 crore, he said.
