EEC-JU gets its new executive body

Shahadat Sumon, JU correspondent: The Annual Symposium and charge hand over program of E-Business and Entrepreneurship Club (EEC) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) held today.

On Monday (January 6) the program held at the seminar room of the university`s Zahir Rayhan auditorium.

Starting off the program with the national anthem and digital anthem, the guest speakers were called on to the stage along with the former executive body.

“Bangladesh has almost reached the point where 4th industrialization will make a drastic change to most of the sectors. The young people should push forward with a view to fulfill the goal of our digital Bangladesh.” said Dr. M. Mesbah Uddin Sarker, Director of IIT, JU.

Later, Munira Ferdous and Tabassum Nahar Khan Loren was declared as the new president and general secretary of EEC-JU for the next one year.

Others office bearer are Tilottoma Khan Rajib as Vice president, Jannatul Puspa as Treasurer.

The former president S.M. Musfiqul Islam and the former general secretary Shahriar Emon handed over the responsibilities to the new executive body. The event ended with a grand barbeque party with the participation of all the former and current members of the club.

Mentionable, The club started its journey about a year ago with the idea to boost the entrepreneurial mindset among students. It had activities ranging from business competition to weekly seminars to training sessions throughout the year.
