Looks like Brahmastra shooting schedule in Bulgaria is getting more and more interesting by the day. After Alia’s Instagram story with her girl gang, and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, come a few more new pictures. Only these have southern superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, his pretty wife Amala and director Ayan Mukherji in them as well.
The film’s producer, Karan Johar, welcomed Nagarjuna to Brahmastra as well. Sharing a few pictures, Nagarjuna wrote on Twitter: “Sunny Sunday and a fantastic lunch with the #brahmastra team..we missed you!! @karanjohar.” One picture features Ayan and Ranbir along with Nagarjuna, while another one had Alia and Amala with the three ‘boys’. A third picture all five of them with other crew members.
Karan immediately replied to Nagarjuna’s statement, mentioning how happy he and his team were to have the Telugu superstar onboard Brahmastra. Initially, it was thought that the three-part Brahmastra would have Ranbir, Alia and Amitabh Bachchan. However, looks like the star cast is likely to expand as the inclusion of Nagarjuna shows.
The storyline of Brahmastra is still not clear though it is conjectured to be a superhero film. Ranbir, during promotions of Sanju, revealed to Mid-Day, “It is actually a supernatural romantic fairy tale at heart. Ayan will never make a character that doesn’t have truth to it, or which is unbelievable. It’s too early to talk about the film, but it is something I am terribly excited about.”
