Federation Cup football begins tomorrow

DHAKA, – Abahani Limited take on Bangladesh Police Football Club in the lone opening group A match of the curtain riser TVS Federation Cup Football that begins tomorrow (Wednesday) at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest at 3.30 pm while Bangladesh Football
Federation (BFF) senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy will present as the special guest.

Bangla TV will telecast the match live that kicks off at 4 pm.

A total of thirteen clubs – Bashundhara Kings, Abahani Limited Dhaka, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra, Saif Sporting Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha,
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Chattogram Abahani Limited, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society, Brothers Union Club, Bangladesh Police Football Club and Uttar Baridhara Club — of the country, are taking part in the competition split into four groups.

Meanwhile, the tickets rates of Taka 50 for VIP and Taka 20 for gallery have been estimated for the match. The tickets will be available from BNS
area and BFF office.

Grouping:

Group A – Abahani Limited Dhaka, Arambagh Krira Sangha and Bangladesh Police Football Club.

Group B – Bashundhara Kings, Abahani Limited Dhaka and Brothers Union Club.

Group C – Saif Sporting Club Limited, Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited and Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society.

Group D – Sheikh Russell krira Chakra Limited, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Mohammedan Sporting Club and Uttar Baridhara Club.
