BARGUNA,  – Three of a family, including a woman were electrocuted at Khastabak village in Patharghata upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Md Delwar Hossain Hawlader, 65, his nephew Rasel, 14, and Hamida Begum, 55, police sources said.

Police and family members said Delwar came in contact with an electric line while working at his garden. Rassel and his mother were also electrocuted when they came to save Delwar.

A case was filed with Patharghata thana in this connection.
