CHATOGRAM, -Two persons were killed when a covered van plunged into a roadside ditch on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Fouzderhat area at 4 am this morning.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Azam, 35, a night guard of Kalu Shah Mazar sharif and Shahjahan, 40, both hailed from Fouzderhat area.

Witnesses said one covered van went down into the road side ditch as the driver of the vehicle lost his control over the steering.

Mohammad Awal, Officer In charge of Bara Aulia highway thana, confirmed the accident and demise of two persons.
