Mr. I M Nurul Kabir has been named the new Executive Director of the Foreign Investor’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the source of all foreign investment, insight, prospect and development in Bangladesh. Mr. Kabir will lead FICCI’s various activities to make Bangladesh a more trade friendly country and attract new foreign investment.

In a career exceeding 33 years, Mr. Kabir has successfully created a name for himself in the corporate world and played an instrumental role in the implementation of policy & process between Government and Private sector in Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Public Private Dialogue (PPD), which contributed to a major change in policy for Public & Private sector development. Mr. Kabir worked as a C level consultant on Business, Investment and Technology in Bangladesh.

This is also not the first time Mr. Kabir has been placed in a senior role as he was previously the Secretary General & CEO of Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB), Senior Vice-President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI) and Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS).
