DHAKA, – Public University and Bangladesh University of Textile (BUTEX) moved to the semifinals of the United Group Faraaz Inter- University Gold Cup Football beating their respective rivals in the pre quarterfinals held on Wednesday at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.

In the day’s first match, Public University blanked Far East International University by 2-0 goals.

In the day’s match, Sajib scored both the goals for the winning side in the 3rd and 34th minutes of the match.

In the day’s second pre quarterfinal match, BUTEX edged Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University past by a solitary goal scored by Nafis Ahmed in the
very third minute of the match.
