RANGPUR, – As per rescheduled timeframe, the online registration of admission tests for first year honours courses for the academic session 2019-2020 will begin from October 3 and continue till October 25 next at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR).

“The timeframe for the online registration process was rescheduled today at the third meeting of the central admission test committee of BRUR held at administrative building on the campus today, a press release said.

As per the previously announced schedule, the online registration process for the purpose was to begin from September 25 and continue till October 25 next.

However, the five-day admission tests for the first year honours courses for 2019-2020 academic session at BRUR remains unchanged as per the previously scheduled timeframe on November 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 next.

Vice-chancellor of the university and its Convener of the central admission test committee Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah presided over the meeting.

Moderated by Registrar and Member-secretary of central admission test committee of BRUR Colonel (Retd) Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, members of the committee, deans of all six faculties and heads of all 21 departments attended the event.

Candidates will compete in the admission tests against 1,350 seats in 21 departments of six faculties of the public university.

The university authority will publish further details about the whole admission process in the university’s website (www.brur.ac.bd) and some national dailies, the release added.
