U-18 soccer team touchdown in Nepal

DHAKA, – The Bangladesh U-18 men’s reached Katmandu, Nepal today (Wednesday) morning to take part in the SAFF U-18 Championship scheduled to be held on September 20-29 in Nepal.

The booters are scheduled to take part in the first practice session this afternoon at APF Football Ground in Katmandu.

Earlier, in the morning, the Bangladesh U-18 team, led by Yeasin Arafat, left Dhaka for Nepal at 10.30 am.

Bangladesh, the runners-up of the previous edition in 2017, will kick off their campaign against Sri Lanka on September 21 before playing against India on September 25.

Holders Nepal will face Pakistan in the inaugural game slated for September 20.

The group round matches will conclude on September 25 after which the top two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for September 27.

The final will be held on September 29. All the matches will be held at APF Stadium in Katmandu.
