The Prize Giving Ceremony of the Intra-departmental Debate Competition 2019 & Wall Magazine Publication program was organized by The Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh, on 5th August 2019 at City Campus, Kawranbazar, Dhaka.

Prof. Dr Abu Zayed Muhammad, Dean, Faculty of Law & Proctor, NUB was present as the Chief Guest of the program and the Wall Magazine was unveiled by him. The Head of the Dept. Mohammad Jashim Uddin, Assistant Professor; the Coordinator of the Dept, Ferdous Iqbal Chowdhury, Sr. Lecturer; and the Convener of Wall Magazine Committee, Md. Saber -E- Montaha, Lecturer were also present at the unveiling ceremony.

The final round of the competition held on July 30, 2019, at the City campus of NUB. 48 debaters from the Department of English, NUB, participated in the event.

The members of the champion team of the English debate competition were Abdullah Osama, Fahim Ahmed and Fatema Tuz Zahra Tithy while the members of the runners-up team were Tasnim Jerin, Tamanna Jahan Trisha and Shim Kumar Roy. Besides, the members of the champion team of the Bangla debate competition were Md. Shohanur Rahman Shohan, Samia Akter and Tanjuma Sultana whereas the members of the runners-up team were Md. Newaz Sharif, Md. Al-Emran and Md. Shahidul Islam. The champion and runners-up teams received crests and certificates from the chief guest.
