BAF craft crash kills 2 air force pilots

DHAKA – A Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) training aircraft crashed last night on a water body in Jashore killing its two pilots of Squadron rank, an ISPR spokesperson said.

“Two pilots Squadron Leader Md Serajul Islam and Squadron Leader Enayet Kabir Polash took off from BAF Base BS Matiur Rahman on night training mission. …both of them died,” ISPR Assistant Director Rezaul Karim Shammee
told BSS.

He said the K-8W model aircraft crashed at Book Bhora Baor near Jashore airport adding that a rescued mission was underway and high level committee was formed to investigate into the accident.
