SANGSAD BHABAN, – The government has allocated Taka 32,101 crore for the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces Division and other
services, in the proposed budget for the fiscal (FY) 2019-2020.

The allocation is Taka 1,400 crore higher than the revised budget of the previous FY 2018-19 of Taka 30,701 crore.

Of the total amount of Taka 32,101 crore allocated in the FY 2019-20, Taka 30,765 crore has been allocated for the Defence Services, Taka 1,298 crore
for other services and Taka 38 crore for the Armed Forces Division.
