‘Jaler Gaan’ perform the opening of Asian Open Karate Championship 2018

The 17th All-Asia Open Karate Championships will be held in Dhaka on 9th and 10th November at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium. On 9th November, the popular band Jaler Gaan will perform on the opening day of the pleasant cultural evening. Band Leader Rahul Anand said ”In context, It is a matter of great pride for us that an international sports event starts with our song. We are grateful to the organizer team. Hopefully the spectators/audience will not be disappointed.”
Honorable President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Abdul Hamid will inaugurate the event of the competition. Besides, Honorable State Minister for Youth and Sports, Mr. Dr. Biren Shikdar MP.
The inaugural ceremony will be present as a guest of honor (Iko) khyokushin Head Office, Mr. Iqbal Ghosh, International Director (ICO) from the United States. Dr. Dipu Moni MP (Former Foreign Minister), Chief Sponsor of Khukucin Bangladesh, will chair the function (ICO). The Japanese ambassador to Bangladesh, Mr. Hiroiashu Ejumi, will also be present.
Competition includes 60 participants from 18 countries including Japan, Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macao, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bahrain, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Kuwait.
The International Karate Organization (IKO) is going to be organized for the first time in Bangladesh by the initiative of Khyokusin Bangladesh branch, the 17th All-Asia Open Karate Championships2018. The Bangladesh Marshal Arts Confederation, National Sports Council and Bangladesh are in cooperation with the event, says a press release.
