Foundation stone for development of Narsingdi District Hospital

The foundation stone of 12 storied building has been laid to enhance the 100-bed district hospital of Narsingdi to 250 beds. State Minister for Water Resources Lt Colonel (Retd) Muhammad Nazrul Islam (Bir Protik) laid the foundation stone as the chief guest.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Helal Uddin chaired the occasion while among others, Narsingdi-3 Shibpur constituency MP Sirajul Islam Mollah, Deputy Commissioner Syeda Farhana Kawnine, Superintendent of Police Saifullah Al-Mamun, District Liberation War commander Motalib Pathan, Narsingdi district unit BM president Md Mozammel Haque Kamal, general secretary Sajedul Huq Apu, officials of the District Health Department including the staff members of different class groups were also present at the occasion.
Under the supervision of Public Works Department and Health Department, the 12-storied building with the value of modern services will be built 7 storied in the first phase with Tk 35-crore budget. The builder has been given 30 months time to build the building. The construction of the building expressed the hope that development and change will be done in the service of the district.
