New car, motorbike, sure cash-back offered on Walton fans’ registration

The country’s electronics giant Walton started nationwide ‘Digital Campaign’ for its produced wide ranges of electrical fans like ceiling, table, wall, rechargeable and pedestal fans with the aim of delivering swift post sales services through online, says a press release.
Under this campaign, the Walton fans’ buyers are offered free cars, motorbikes, fridges, televisions and many others prizes or sure cash-back on the registration of their each fans, which are purchased from any Walton Plaza and distributor outlets across the country. The customers of Walton fans will enjoy the offer during the period of July 1 to September 30 of 2018.
The announcement was made at a ‘Declaration Programme’ at the conference room of the Walton Group’s Corporate Office in the capital on Sunday (July, 2018).
The declaration programme was attended by Walton Group’s Executive Directors Eva Rezwana, Amdadul Haque Sarker, Nazrul Islam Sarker, SM Zahid Hasan and Md Humayun Kabir, Head of Electrical Appliances’ Sales Division Md Sakhawat Hossain, In-charge of Fan Research and Development Division’s Rubel Ahmed, Deputy Operative Director Sohel Rana, First Senior Additional Director Md Moklesur Rahman and other senior officials of the group.
During the ‘Digital Campaign’, details of the customers and their purchased products including the name of customer, contact number and the model number of the product are being stored on a server. The customers can seek post sales services browsing the Walton developed web page and also they can see the status of the product from online.
At the event, SM Zahid Hasan said, the imported electrical fans are still dominating the local market though some local entrepreneurs are manufacturing international standard various sorts of electrical fans in Bangladesh.
“It’s a great sorrow for us,” saying it he noted that now, time has come to promote the locally made electrical fans and to capture the entire market through eliminating the import dependency.
Speakers at the event said, Walton is manufacturing and marketing world-class ceiling, table, wall, rechargeable and pedestal fans at its own factory. Thus, the demands and sales of Walton fans are going up day by day at home and abroad. Like fridge and television, Walton will be the market leader in the local electrical fans’ market. High quality raw materials are being used in the production of various sorts of electrical fans. The International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) standard is followed in quality control.
Now, ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labeled world-class Walton fans are exported to Nepal, Nigeria, East Timur and Seychelles. Some new countries of Africa, Middle East and Asian regions will be added to the list of Walton fan importing counties very soon.
Head of Electrical Appliances’ Sales Division of Walton Md Sakhawat Hossain said, they are manufacturing and marketing 15 models of ceiling fan with while, blue, pink and cream white colours between the prices of Tk 2,490 and Tk 2,940.
In addition, Walton is selling out 6 models of table fan with cream white, dark blue and sky blue between Tk 2,150 and TK 2,990. There are eight models of wall fan with cream white, white, dark blue and sky blue between Tk 2,390 and Tk 2,890. Rechargeable fan has 9 models between Tk 3,690 and Tk 4,200. In pedestal fan, there are 11 models between Tk 2,500 and Tk 5,990.
