Police press charges against 14

Police pressed charges against 14 persons in Govt. B. L College student Adullah Al Faisal alias Shiblu Mollah murder case which will be presented before Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate Court today.
Inspector Sheikh Abu Bakkhar of Police Bureau of Investigation submitted the charge sheet to general register officer of Metropolitan Magistrate Court yesterday.
Shibll was killed as he protested the extortion of combined force, the charge sheet refers.
Charge sheet prepared by police included evidences including two machetes, two daggers, a iron rod and two sticks recovered on information gleaned from interrogation, will be presented before the court, said sources.
The evidences were recovered from house of where 10 accused of a family live and a drain nearby the spot of killing.
The 11 page charge was prepared after talking with 42 witness including 26 eyewitnesses which gives a brutal descriptions of killing .
Quoting the description given on the charge sheet Police Investigation Bureau Khulna District Additional Police Super Mohmmad Anisur Rahman said, the slain used to protest the extortion made by the local hooligans. His role as a protestor barred the way of their crime. For that reason, he was killed as a part of blue design.
Among accused Arif, Rahmat, Kashem, Abu Hanif, Police constable Golam Mostafa, Yusuf, Babu and Jashim are languishing behind the bar while Shahidul, Enamul Sheikh, Juwel alias Kosai Juwel are on bail.
Abul Hossain, Abul Hasan, and Babu are on run.
On 20 June night last year, while Shiblu was sipping over cold drinks in Dawlatpur Dewana Purbo Para Hospital intersection an armed terrorist group swoop on him leaving critically injured.
Doctors pronounced him as dead as he was rushed to the nearby hospital.
A case was filed over the sensational murder with nearby police station. Police Investigation Bureau was given the responsibility of looking on the murder after different officials failed to unearth the mystery.
